“The Spirit and the Bride say ‘come.’” Rev 22.
The mark of the end of the age is not evil. Although Jesus describes these things, the real test to watch for is love. The love of the saints for the Lord marks the end. Jesus will appear to “all those who have loved his appearing.”
Have our hearts said in any way, “Jesus could come back later, I’m not done with this life..”? This is not the Bride saying come. She will be the one expectant for her bridegroom. Nothing else excites her except the wedding day and the union she was promised. So then, she and the Spirit have the same heart, a heart that Jesus will be restored to the earth and the union completed. It is this mark that defines that not all are yet bridal. And as long as the full number of bride is incomplete the body is not prepared and the union is delayed.
It will be no shotgun wedding. No one will be forced into this marriage unless love is complete and the Spirit has finished his work. In this way our spirit echoes the Holy Spirit and we cry “Maranatha”, our Lord come. Without his help there is no love for Jesus as the Father loves Jesus. The exact same love.
