“And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.” Revelation 6:8

The conqueror, famine, death, and strife all unite against 1/4th of the human population. The generation of the last age will have to learn to live with immense death. We find it to be a rare thing in our culture. Hospitals and medicines and peace have long isolated us from death. But the generation of this age will know it intimately.

It has always been a good time to evangelize. However the age of peaceful evangelism is coming to a conclusion. Hence the 5th seal is the death of those who speak of Christ and the interpretation of these tidings. And so crying will come to all who are in the earth. 3/4ths of the earth will have their chance to hear and choose again. Our role and responsibility has not changed in 2000 years. Be the testimony of life in the midst of death. Believe in resurrection. Live for a man of another age, kingdom and life. One day with will have no victory and death will have no sting. Until then, we live to testify.
